I am an alumini of LPU and would like to tell that we have 8 boys and 6 girls hostel in the campus. 1- If you are a male you have 24+7 access to entry and exit in the hostel and for girls it id 7pm for last entry. (for security purposes) . However liabrary access for them is open at defined hours after 7 pm along with the guards 2- Your entry and exit would be governed by your fingerprint and ID card which makes it a very secure environment. 3- You have free access 24*7 for the internet but strict actions for using any unadvisable sites. 4- We have a internal student portal called UMS where you can mark any complaint ,requests or leaves in the system. 5- Non veg is not allowed in the hostel. It is little weird but LPU says we believe in respect of every religion and caste so I think it is fair enough as we have a separate canteen for non veg where you are free to go and eat. 6- We have innumerable kiosks in and around the campus for mouth watering food. 7- We have a Uni hospital in the campus, so in case of any sickness or emergency the ambulance is at the hostel gate in no time 8- They have cameras installed all over the hostel including each corridor which helps with a better security overall. 9- The basic necessity shops and parlours are there inside the girls hostel too.
